With the help of Alpha Graphics and Garfield County's very own, Brynn Ryan, a community brand identity was formed. Alpha Graphics conducted a public survey and community engagement process to gather input on logo, design, messaging and visual identity. The full branding guidelines can be found below including logo, color selections and typography. If you would like to use any part of this branding kit email Madi Saylor at comdev@gndc.org.

Grow Garfield County was able to bring Roger Brooks to the community in late November. He is a renowned professional in his work on tourism. He secretly comes to communities and shops, tours and spends time to get a feel for the area. He then puts together a presentation for the community on what his first impressions are as a tourist and suggestions on what he would improve and add to make communities "tourism ready". Gymnasium Mural

The Parent Teacher Organization of Jordan Public Schools approached the steering committee about a project that would serve several purposes - community beautification, public art and wayfinding signage. Ashtyn Brugger was hired to complete this mural bringing vibrancy and visual appeal to a key community space while also contributing to a broader sense of direction for the many visitors the gymnasium sees during the school sports seasons.

Hanging Flower Baskets

Pat and Cathy Murnion from In My Plants Greenhouse spearheaded this project, ordering the baskets, hardware, soil and flowers. They gathered volunteers to fill the baskets, enlisted the help of McCone Electric to hang them as well as organized a volunteer watering crew! Grow Garfield County was pleased to allocate funding for this project that truly brightened our community!

Community Meeting Room Improvements

The Community Meeting Room received some updates including new paint, refinished floors, outlets, a smart TV and sound bar, tables and chairs providing a more functional space for local groups, trainings and meetings. This project was led by Jordan Public School's Principal, Judy Billing with the improvements performed by the school's maintenance team - Malcom McRae and Brian Fitzgerald. Electrical work was done by Judd Gibson of Hell Creek Electric.
